well, just like title says.. i took off the big 3lb counterweight that site on the linkage of the transmission and i am wondering if its ok to leave it off, or does it serve a neccesary function? i wouldnt think that it would, maybe just make it a lil easier to throw into gears or something.. i duno thats why im posting this up.

ive had mine off for about 6 months now, no issues, really dont even notice a difference. but it still counts as weight reduction wink1.gif

yah i took it off because i didnt think i need it, it was an eyesore, and its friggin heavy for that lil of a part..
