Tps
#1
Ive been searching and noticed that I am having the idle problem that seems to be associated with the Dae Sung TPS. What I was curious to know is, im the 2nd owner with 90k miles, do they still have to replace it. And if so why, is it a recall?

its not a recall but if they dont know your the second owner then they cant tell you otherwise
its a tps which is covered by whatever warranty you have
if your the second owner you get a 5/60 warranty

They're not going to help you.
I have the Daesung TPS, and I'm pretty sure that's what has been causing my occasional high idle and sometimes too low.
I didn't expect much from my dealer, as they have never been helpful, but when I went in with the TPS info printed out, they wouldn't even look at it as a warranty issue. So now I'm going to look out for a Keifco TPS, ideally with a TB in the bargain for me to get bored out.
Has anyone here who is not the original owner successfully had theirs replaced for free?
