Torque? Where is it?

Hold the brake and rev your engine until 2000-2500 RPM. Then when green lights comes on, immediately release brake and press gas pedal further down. With this technique, your launching will be considerably better. When doing this, however, do not hold gas and brake at the same time for a long period.
Of course, you can add
Cold air intake
BB throttle body
Bored intake manifold
to increase a nice amoung of torque.

do you have to buy anything else with the big bore throttle body like bigger intake tube?
You do not need, however for maximum torque increase, you might also consider boring out intake manifold.

My intake manifold is bored out to 63mm. This does not increase your torque (I have bbtb too). This increases your HP at the top end. My bottom end is the same, and I am not drawing any cooler air or anything. It just decreases restriction at the top end of the RPM range, the bottom end will stay the same as the negative psi will be about
the same at lower RPM's...
Just pointing out...
