exactly, the car's fine. Carbon buildup happens and doesnt hurt anything.

 

if anything.. it provides a smooth surface for the air to flow over. The carbon fills in ALL the little cracks, including the joint at the head where the manifold bolts to it. Unless you care is seriously smoking, it will not get much worse.
