wanting to know if my tib ( 97 1.8 full catback exhaust, cold air intake, new clutch) can beat a 92 RS integra with a stock b18, 192,000 miles? friend of mine is looking at one and hes already talking mess to me, was wondering if anyone would know if i can take it? b/c hes starting to be a dick evil.gif about my car since he started to looking at this car. Help would be great. thanks

Well here how it breaks down the integra has (140@6300rpm-HP)&(126@5000rpm-Torque (lbs-ft)) stock your tib has (130@6000rpm-HP)&(122@5000rpm-Torque (lbs-ft)) stock. With your cat & cold air you most likely have more HP but not by much. So it would come down to driver skill. Hit you shifts and u will win.

Good calculations.
A LOT of folks forget that driver skill is 90%, the machine is 10. I used to beat folks in my Sprint because I knew how to drive.

my driving skills are good
my car redlines at 6500 not 6000
its a 93 and he claims it has 140hp
i told him if he can drive good he can run it good, he didnt say much bout that. so i will find out soon.

well i have beat that gen & newer ls integras in my 01 tib, i know mine is a 2.0 but they are pretty close. And i shift at about 6500-6700, you can kind of feel a little less pull in 3rd or 4th once you hit that rpm, before you hit the rev limiter
