I would not let my motor rely on a $15 timing belt... seems way to cheap for me.

seems very cheap for timing belt.

I dunno man, I wouldn't rely on this belt too, altough it can be good belt.

If the belt breaks it would be price repair cause valves will have a litle meeting with pistons... = no good.

Dammit.. my 1.8l cam is still sitting under my bed.

I need to get this on, I do not want to risk doing it myself. Hyundai claimed $700 for a thorough install, blah. Maybe bring it to another dealer?

if your going to do a timing belt go with the kspec kit

i paid like 60 for the belt and another 90 for the water pump and thats at my price (20% off) so kspec will give you a awesome deal

maybe, someone should make a DIY for the timing belt and water pump. I'll be doing mine in the spring. I'd like a little reference before then. But if no one else does anything, I'll snap a few pics.
