Throttle body options
So I did a quick search of the forum but can't find any info on 70mm Throttle Body options. I am looking for a 70mm for my Beta I. I know certain years of mustangs will bolt on but you have to rewire the TPS if I remember correctly. Does anybody have any information on this? I want to maximize the air for the boost and I know there are options out there but can't remember the details.

Unless you are going for a track-only car, I recommend staying with a smaller throttle body. If this is a daily driver, especially so. The larger the valve, the less precision you will have in low part-throttle control.

I was sure there was some type of Throttle Body that would work. If you do have to weld would you be able to weld on to the throttle body? I don't want to weld onto the intake that I currently have.
Either way does anybody know the wiring for the mustang TPS because I will try to go that route because I'm sure I've seen it done before. I am basically making my Tib a track only car so I'm not worried about inconvenience of the road drive ability.

Nope can't really weld to the mustang siide the spacing is smaller on the tib side than the mustang side it wont really work
I have a diagram somewhere for wiring lemme find it and oh you gotta have some way to calibrate it cuz mine read voltage completely shut

If you want I have a intake manifold with new adapter plated welded on, vac ports threaded in, and 70tb with tps wired already. The TB has a new SS shaft with a calibrated end in order to lower tps voltage at idle that is required when running a FORD tps. $350 plus shipping.

I have made 3 before that have sold. This is my personal one I'm selling to fabricate some sheet metal intake which I probably won't sell since it's pricey. I have daily driven my 70mm tb and have had no sort of side effects or low end torque loss. Problem with people is they hear and read crap other people post on the internet, then they post it up like it's a fact when they've got no previous experience in the matter. It's in the tuning and proper engine build to maintain low-end torque which you might not really want being FWD and all.

Yea I would consider your Intake tanc but I want to keep the supercharger on instead. That is why I don't want to weld on it. I just want to increase the breathing room that I have.
How did you do the Ford TPS swap? That is the information I'm trying to find and I'm sure others would love it to.

Who said anything about torque?
P.S. Tanc you probably have a decent low-volume side job waiting for you if you'll keep one of these manifolds in stock all the time, if this is your 3rd.
