dang... maybe they built him another for free??? thats the only way i'd go back. didn't your last motor die at like 1k?

This is the first engine that has been worked on by that machine shop.

The engine did not "blow" at 1K... some kind of foreign material was sucked in and caused all kinds of shit.

When the engine was pulled out... i switched all bearings/rings as a precaution.

Now.. this engine has 1k AFTER having everything switched out.

This was the FIRST oil change after 1K.

When the oil was changed, i inspected the oil and it was fine. The only trace of debree was on the magnet.

Anyways.. i will wait until 2K miles before i draw any conclusions...
I will also have the oil examined as a precaution.

My turbo arrived last night and will be going in withing 2 weeks.

its gonna be fine

probably some crap left over from the cleanup besides if you dont see that much metal in the oil when you drained it then whats on the plug might be the only metal there

now get your @$$ to the bbq
