Oh yeah, that's a lot of miliage on your car. Change the Fuel Filter, get a lube job (I feel dirty saying that to a chick fing02.gif lmao.gif ), change your wires.

Might wanna get your timing belt changed too, if it hasn't been done.

Change plugs and wires.
That should work, if not, come back here.

Yeah i know.. thats one of the first things to get done in the spring.. dont wanna end up destroying the engine in this car.. it already happened in my sunfire a few months after i got it... and the mechanic i took it too (when i was 17) tryed to screw me around.. Needless to say i got a new head, timing chain and casing from them and didnt pay them 1 cent for their labour.. They were out 900$ at the end of it all .. Not goin thru that sh*t again!! Hope they learned not to screw with young girls again that "dont know anything" about cars.... i dont know everything^^ obviously.. lol .. but i do know alot.. enough to know when to call bullsh*t smile.gif hehe

Nah, the TPS wouldn't have anything to do with our bogging problem.

On the otherhand though, check and see what brand of TPS you have, and get the dealer to give you a Kiefko if you have a Daesung.

my old tibby did the same thing. it just started doing it one day at like 16k miles. i changed the TPS, plugs, wires, had the injectors cleaned by a shop, fuel filter, even had the fuel pump checked. and never could figure out the problem. i dealt with it for like 4 years without ever figuring it out. allways pissed me off.

hmm, sounds like TPS for RPM drop when you press slightly gas pedal at the start.

change fuel filter and clean injectors.

Fuel filter should be changed like every 60,000 kms (i think), but I change it every 30,000 because of crappy gas we have in UA.

The best way to clean injectors is to remove them from the car and clean them with ultrasonic and then check them how they spra.
