What I am trying get is, did the smt5 fail on its own, or did he put it in the engine bay, which I am thinking the heta got to it.

Yes Gtr, it does control ignition, but so far he has been unsuccesful in achieving this

Does the SMT adjust to boost? Raise rev limiter? Any other updates?

Actually, he's selling it. It's in the for sale forum.
He had it installed in his 00 Tib and working ok, but he randomly decided to buy a Tib GT. So he uninstalled everything.
He still has it, so email him and see what he says.

Its good to know your on this too skierd
Im trying to get in contact with perfect power and see if they will be willing to help install their smt-6 on a tiburon
The smt is about the same price (i think) and has some more options

KORE Will be a distributor for Perfect Power before the first of the year. Hopefully this will help ya all out. If not well darn then. At least we will be working on the cars with it smile.gif
