Default SAFC good to have for bolt ons?

I know the SAFC isnt a viable solution for turbo'd cars but are they good to have for N/A and the usual bolt ons?

SAFC will not work. Do a little searching here. Search button top right!!!! But simply answer to tune bolt ons. Simply remove power then wait ten minutes reconnect power then drive the shot out of it. Your stock ecu will make its own aggresive tune!!!

That's not true. The safc will work just fine at WOT which is what you want for power. It will not work at partial throttle.

Both of you should study up on open/closed loop mapping.

With I/H/E on a 1.8l J2 Elantra the SAFC helped make 130whp on a Mustang dyno. That was higher than all but one of the 2.0l Beta I's and Beta 2's that were there with the same mods.

As Jon said, SAFC will only tune WOT.

IMO not worth the money, your stock ecu will suffice with bolt-ons.
