Default RPM Question

Whare should the needle point in RPM meter when I turn on the engine?

By the way, I have 2001 Automatic Trans. Tiburon.

Thank you

The needle should be just above the 1000 mark when started cold, but when warm/hot it should be about 750RPM, just a needles width from the 1000RPM mark.

I see. That's where my RPM needle points out right now. I asked this question because I changed stock gauge to TSR color gauge happy.gif
