Resonator...
Take the damned thing off. Everyone is right, it improves your throttle response, makes the engine compartment quite a bit less cramped, improves the sound (Wayyyyy improves the sound of the car), and is just way to easy for all of you not to do.
Let me know if anyone has questions.

i actually thought you were talking about the one further down. there's like three of em.
It's easy as hell. The top one is connected to the intake tube. The bottom one is a bit harder to get to, but I took it all off from under the hood.i actually thought you were talking about the one further down. there's like three of em.
Take off your air filter cover.
Remove the cover from the tube (Loosen the hose clamp).
Take the 3 bolts out of the bottom of the airfilter box. Remove the bottom.
Take off the bolts holding the intake tube, and the 2 holding the upper resonator/intake tube part to the bottom.
Look around under the battery tray and take the last bolt out. Push the bottom resonator out the bottom of the car.
Drink several coronas while putting the airbox back in and backtoghther.
Make sure you put the Air Temp Sensor back in the airbox and tighten all the bolts down well.
That's it!
