Random: would this be stupid?
i was going to build myself a Random Special Intake a month ago but i found out that i had the revision a tiburons so i just ran the pipe a few inches below my battery kinda like how the aos intake is..now..i was thinking that maybe if i had a hose in the foglight fender well and cut a hole just like if i were to build the RS Intake and have the hose pointing towards the filter since it is already done there..whould this basically be stupid or should i go for it?

Yes.. I have one of those Tibs as well.. I haven't done that, but it will blow colder air onto the filter which goes into the intake.. I was actually thinking of somehow attaching a hose hose directly to the filter running from the outside.. That might work a bit better..
Anyone have any thoughts about that..?

For the Revison A, Putting the air filter right below the battery, or down on the bottom engine shield is the best you can really do. Unless you are blessed with one of the few Revision A's that have an extra small evap canister, in which case you can fit a 2" pipe under it, and put the filter up right behind the fog light.

If it is easy to do, and reversable (nothing damaged) go for it. If you have to remove metal or plastic, I would NOT reccomend it. The small ammount of air that might make it into that hose cannot compete with the very hot air under the hood of the car.
