How many miles?
The fuel filter has never been changed?
First thing I'd do is change your fuel filter, and then add some decent injector cleaner.
The leak sound you are talking about COULD be a problem with your FPR, but do those other things first.

131,000 miles. I have only put about 700 miles since I bought it. I don't know if the PO ('s) ever changed it but I'm going to assume it's factory issue.
The FPR, I know that'd cause an issue but would it cause it to not start at all and would that throw a CEL?
I'll get over to Autozone for a filter tonight, thanks! Too bad we're in for another 5"-9" of snow tomorrow!
I had/have plans to Seafoam it. Is that something in line with your injector cleaning protocol or do you have a better idea?

IIRC, the FPR would leak down pressure, so that could be what caused the problem. It's at least possible.
Since the car's maintenance history is an unknown I'd change the filter regardless.

If the car seems fine after it warms up, it could be something simple like a vacuum leak. And if you're having problems starting and not getting a CEL, it could be IAC (idle air contoller) related. Check the big hose that goes from your elbow, to the IAC, and then to the IM.
