Default racing gears/differential available though hyundai

i was having a nice conversation with my service manager after i have had some serious problems with my differential and tranny etc....

i was advised that hyundai canada offers racing gears, differentials etc.. all original hyundai parts.

i will try to get more info on them tommorow when i have another meeting with him. ill try to get more specifics prices and etc on the stuff.

Gear sets are available in Korea. The problem is the cost of the gears is astronomical.

Final Gear Ratio 4.412 ~$500
Final Gear Ratio 4.294 ~$500
1st/2nd 2.929/2.053 ~$850
3rd 1.538 ~$300
4th 1.241 ~$300
5th 1.031 ~$300

You're looking at $2250 if you replace them all.

Hey Random, are those original Hyundai parts?

Why not just swap the 2.0 tranny w/ the 1.6 one? I hear it is a good piece.
