For those interested, Contact Shark Racing about the RPW headers. If I'm not mistaken, they have a test unit in house that they need to install on someone's car to get some dyno results.

I didn't know HVE made a "shorty" header. Regardless, my HVE long-tube 4-1 unit is certainly top-notch equipment. I would suggest anyone wanting the most out of their header (no matter the car) go for a long-tube design.

what about wanting to sacrifice low end for top end power? My problem is being that I can't keep decent traction while on the bottle in the beginning part of 2nd gear. I was thinking if I get a header to take out some of the added torque of the nitrous at the lower rpm range (3500-4500) I'd be good to go. smile.gif

The header won't help you there dude.
You either need to do a progressive nitrous shot, or not spray till later in the gear, or next higher gear.
I would suggest the progressive shot as the best way to good ET's and keeping traction vs not spraying till 2nd gear or later.
