I turned on my car one day and the check engine light came on. My car was puttering like it was out of gas but it had gas and when i put it into drive it was idleing i should say harder. Does anyone have any idea what that might be?? I have a 2000 tib...

 

It seem like you engine is mifiring, foul spark plugs, faulty coil/wires. I would try spark plugs first, replace them with NGK brand. The OEM spark plugs are Champions, these plugs are crap!
