Which Pulleys
#1
Hey guys I was thinking for something to do this week, I could change the pulleys. Ive searched but nothing was a solid help. I am most likely going with Overdrive pulleys because I dont wanna swap the timing belt until I actually need to change belts. Can someone tell me if having overdrive pulleys will stunt my car, in handling or performance? And with the O/D pulleys will there be a gain in hp? To my knowledge they are stock size, just lighter, so all I need to do is just out it on lol. Or is the only way I will there will be a difference is to put on the U/D pulley? So any help is appreciated. Thanks!

the overdrive or power pulley set (same stuff different names) might free up a horse or 2 i don't think it will be very noticable, w/o the underdrive pulley. i doubt it will hinder your cars performance. when i had them on my last rd2 it SEEMED like it handeled a bit more responsviely (could just be jedi mind tricks). if you're gonna put the pulleys on make sure you put your hands on a diet cause it get cramped by the waterpump pulley (the bigger of the 2)-... and while you're at it change the belts. good luck!

Pulleys are very noticable, I definately felt a difference before and after.
Overdrive pulleys? Where do you expect to find those?
Underdrive you CAN find, but the only place currently making pulleys that fit for us are OBX (good luck) and Ark Performance.

Yeah the OBX ones on ebay are the ones I was refering to. And I am almost positive you need a different sized belt when going with the U/D pulley and I didnt really plan on doing that yet.

No, Jspeed no longer makes pulleys. Any that are out there are just what's left in stock.
Jspeed made a full set of 3 pulleys for us, I've got them on my car. The Crank Pulley is underdriven.
Jspeed only makes rims now.
