You are a cruel cruel man, REDZ... so how come they stopped making the Crank pulley for us? I would think that as Hyundai advances in the aftermarket and with the "tunerz" they would have kept curning them out... or are they only looking at the v6 on the new Tib?

UR only makes the Crank Pulley for us, and it's the standard size, just LIGHT, so no, we don't need a new belt for THAT.

Now that's what I'd like to have... an OEM size pulley but lighter (and still be able to use OEM belts)
If you can manage a GB on this babys for around $100 (as Tibbychick said it costed her) I would jump definitely in...
even when I have some unfinished brake issues pending...

The word from UR is they are WILLING to make us a FULL line of pulleys, just for US. Each different prototype will cost 300 bucks. So yeah, we'll need to get a fund going for that. After the Prototypes are done and they have a car for each design to look at, they can give us a final price.

They said specificly that doing it this way will be 25 to 35 percent cheaper than retail, per set.

So.

Looks like i'll get a thread going on this soon, and we'll see who can send in what pulleys for the project, see how many prototypes we need, and get the money raised.

Good news I guess, but could we get just crank pulley? Shouldn't they already have a prototype for it?

ditto on that. Would we --the ones with 1st gen Tibs-- still need to mold crank pulleys? Because I understand they already have them done right?
REDZ, please correct me if I am wrong, we would need to prototype and mold the following?

1st Gen
Power Pulley
Water Pulley

2nd Gen
Crank Pulley
Power Pulley
Water Pulley

^^^ RD1s and RD2s use the same water pump and crank pulley.

^^
If we know that 100% sure, the only pulley that would need prototyping would be the RD2 Crank Pulley, in which case a GB on these pulleys should be less expensive and the cost for prototyping could be divided into all the members of the Gb.

I am 100% sure the water pump pulleys are the same (I had one on the car for a bit) and am 95% sure on the crank pulleys.

Can anybody measure those pulleys and make a drawing?
I can ask here in Ukraine, how much it will be to make, should not be expensive.
