Drain the system.
Then remove the resivoir and plug the two hose taps. Then clean up the OUTSIDE ONLY, and paint to your heart's content!

wouldnt that make it that much harder to read the level??
Actually i would get the brushed alumnium resiviors. Ill end up getting them. $70 each is a little high for me right now. I have a lot of other things im tryin to do.
BTW, its 4am & ive been up for almost 40 hours. If i dont make any sense, i have an excuse. NITE!!!

Take the tubes off the tank and hold a small container under them. Gravity should do mosof the work. You could always unbolt it first and pour the contents into said container. After you have empty the tank start your car and crank the wheels a couple of times. Make sure that the hoses are running into a container of some sort. This should empty your system and hopefully keep spills of your car/driveway.
