p0203 obd2 code
I was troubleshooting this error and found my old thread here. https://www.hyundaiaftermarket.org/forum/in...41&hl=p0203
Apparently I've been having this issue for a while... lol. I thought it was an injector but it must not be. Since that thread I've:
1.replaced motor
2.replace injectors
3.replaced wiring harness
4. voltage on all injector harnesses the same (10.xx)
5. all injector resistance the same (15.8x)
I'm thinking ecu, any other ideas?
edit: oh! fyi, P0203 means that the PCM detected a fault in the injector or the wiring to the injector.

oh, i believe pcm = ecu, I just copied and pasted that description from some site I found via google.
03tib, from what I found online thats the correct amount of voltage for injectors though. And since it's consistent that seems to rule it out. - http://www.obd-codes.com/p0203
Remember to this is just sitting there with the ignition on, not running or trying to start. Might be more otherwise.
I was just thinking I probably need to check my grounds though. Anyone have an idea about that ground that bolts to the intake manifold? is that for the injectors? I went ahead and ordered an ecu I'll try extra grounding for the time being to see it that helps.

"P0203 Injector 3 •?? circuit malfunction Wiring, injector, ECM" is the description from the sticky CEL code thread in the help section.
hyundaitechinfo > DTM > Engine >Engine Control >DTC - P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204
says the code is for "Injector Circuit Malfunction-Cylinder 3."
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
DTC detection condition
Background
a. A surge voltage is generated when the injectors are driven and the current flowing to the injector coil is shut off.
b. The engine control module checks this surge voltage.
Check area
a. Engine speed is between 50 and 1,000 r/min.
b. Throttle position sensor output voltage is 1.16V or less.
c. Monitoring time: 4 sec.
Judgment Criteria
a. Injector coil surge voltage (system voltage +2V) has not been detected for 4 sec.
Probable cause
a. Injector failed
b. Open or shorted injector circuit, or loose connector
c. Engine control module failed

it's fixed! thanks stocker. Sheet helped a lot. Ended up figuring out that the 4 harness was the issue and that the pin inside the harness was just pushed up in the connector and not making connection with the injector.
