Onpol: how much for IM and TB
#2
Well, in my country I had those two made with just 110 USD, with no VAT or receipt. I just gave the shop the money rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif
They also changed the intake butterfly (as we call it) with a bigger one, because the stock one, wouldn't fit exactly in the expanded hole, leaving much more air to pass when idling. Everything was in that price, plus polishing and the work at the air-flow bench... wink.gif
Just be sure that the man that will do the work is a pro, and won't destroy your intake mainfold or throttle body. Also ask him to form a sort of venturi to the throttle body. It certainly does help the air to "flow" better.
Hope I helped.

If I remember right, it was $300 for both TB and IM. I think it's $170 for the TB and $130 for the IM, but Don't quote me on that.

Hey, that's a rip-off....Too much money for them...I don't think the price is right. I wouldn't pay for it... Go anbd search your local machinists...Maybe they can do the job much cheaper than the price Random said!!! eek.gif

I have onpol's BTB/BIM and before I went with him I called some rice shops and they wanted $400-475. Make some calls and see but ask for references and make sure they know what they are doing. I'm very happy with it, slapped it on and no problems at all. He could buy the SR TB but that doesn't do anything for the IM. Onpol's deal is good and there are plenty of happy people that have it.

I have an IM bored by Onpol. Zero complaints from me regarding Onpol's work. For the assurance that the job is being done by someone with LOTS of experience SPECIFICALLY with the Hyundai parts, the price was well worth it in my mind. For the record, I purchased a separate IM from him, because I want to hold onto my stock one. Total cost for him to source an IM, do the work, and ship it was $275. I could sell him my stock IM for about $100. If you do the math, Random's estimate is pretty accurate!
You might be able to find a cheaper estimate from a local mechanic, but I can almost guarantee you they won't know as much about Hyundai parts as Onpol. Odds are, you'd be their first one. Would you really want to be their guinea pig?
