u guys r gonna hate me when u here this but i have to tell u .
i have a 2001 tiburon and talked alot with ssautochrome. they gave me and awesome offer. if i agree to send in pics of it on i get everything free.
i had to pay 140.00, got free overnight shipping. i got the real 4-1 style ceramic coated w/ a high-flow cat. it had all bolts and all gaskets. i put it on, easy as hell, fit right up, took pictures and got refund. in the end it cost me $0.00 lol.gif shock.gif they sound great and u can def. feel the power. i have recently wrapped my header in thermowrap so i got less heat in the engine compartment.
i do highly recommend ssautocrhome, great product, great customer service and technical support = very happy customer lol.gif laugh.gif

 

also the aftermarket header and flex pipe will bolt directly up to the stock cat. wink.gif

 

lol.gif i'm sorry man i just had to bring that up. i had to pay for the muffler tho.. :twisted: :twisted: yeah i'd have to say i like the 4-1 better than the 4-2-1 because i heard its better for a 5-speed from alotta people, even tho u get less mid range u get a nice low end boost of power. and the "high-flow-cat" isn't a cat its a test pipe and holy loud!!! i put stock cat on until i get high flow. if anyone wants a test pipe, i could sell it for like $25 shipped. its stainless, nice quality but too loud. i need to finish the rest of the cat-back also.

 

yah the stock cat is same size as test pipe. in my case it is switchable. im not sure about RD exhaust, if its same setup, then yeah its switchable. yah i have to get another bung installed after my cat,right now i have the 2nd o2 just chillin

 

def. louder than stock. its sporty but kind of in a ricey way. sounds unique. i have the 4-1 instead of the 4-2-1 so it might sound diff. i am going to finish the cat back soon and get resonator to help it sound better.
