Got my motor and tranny for 200 bucks. LOL. But Optimos prices are far more accurate.

I wish I could get a motor and tranny for $550 around here.

Looking at a '03 Elantra engine with 31k for $550. I hope to cut a deal for about $450. (since there is another engine not too far away with 35k for $400.

Looking on car-parts.com, I'll probably end up paying just under $500 for just the motor, no warranty. As for the transmission... another $450. Though if they are that cheap around you guys, it might be worth the shipping costs to get one from around there.

Wait, you said that engine from Elantra years 00-02? When I do a parts selector on car-parts.com for Tiburon year 2003, it only brings up engines from 2003. I could get a 2001 Elantra engine with 31k in town for $400...
