Need inlet and outlet diameter in mm of TB and inlet diameter of IM.
To make them the best they can be, I am in need of the info above.
Iceman, as some of you know is in the process of making a BBTB for us and want to make it a direct bolt on that best fits our NA needs and will make another one for the guys that are running turbo or sc. If anyone has these specs I would really appreciate it and it will help us all in the long run. I ask this because I know some of you have the spare parts sitting around now and can easily take this measurement. I could also use some good pics of the cruise armature if anyone has it so they can look into that too and those of you that have cruise won't lose that feature.

Thanks in advance and I hope someone can get this done!! wink.gif

Ask them if they want to purchase a stock beta 1 tb with cruise. That would be the best for them, instead of measurements taken by someone that they have no reason to trust(not specifically you Dweet). It wouldn't be that expensive, and then they would have a piece to take their own measurements off of any time they want.

They already have a donor car that they got measurements off of but need those now to see if what they suspect is correct that the inlet is bigger than the outlet.(which is what they are planning for the new one to assist in velocity) I just need some pics of how the armature is connected so they can see if it can be added.

tell them to contact blktibs..
they know him
hes also like 10 min from them

the inlet on the tb does get smaller the closer it gets to the butterfly..

the oulet is the same as the inner portion (around the butterfly)

So..
the inlet is larger than the outlet

In a seperate post re: TB sizes I was told that US spec Tibs had 54mm stock throttle bodies. Oz spec "Tibs" have only 50-51mm stock throttle bodies... I know though that the 50-51mm that I'd been informed of was @ the butterfly.

Interesting... So does anyone know then what the TB outlet size is?

Jaws, Andrew cannot get ahold of Chris which is why he called me....I was the one that hooked him up with Iceman. wink.gif
The inlet is 65mm and the outlet is 54mm.
I am going to assume (without taking my TB off) that the IM inlet is 54mm as well.
