Like I said, no one here (that I know of) can help you cause we don't have that style cover.
Maybe it screws off, maybe it's a one time use clip. Who knows. dunno.gif

Maybe Mad John with his Korean Tib might know.

Try twisting it off. If that doesn't work use a flat head and try gently prying it off. It must be a clip I'm sure they don't make Korean Tibs that you can't remove your fuel pump tongue.gif

That's what I said, it looks like a clip. But we're only guessing, so he might want to buy a manual cause he shouldnt take any chances.

If you want to test the fuel pump without taking of the harness and back seat, just unscrew the fuel line just after the injector.... you have to do it with a partner to put on the switch and off rapidly..., or you will split fuel all over the engine..... and please do it on the engine super cool....

Now, this is the lazy way...... is not the recommended way...

BTW... in the pic... it looks like you have to turn clockwise....

^^^ you mean pry that black cover up?

Maybe there should be special tool to remove that shizzle.

BTW there is no manual for Tiburons here. I saw only manual for 5 hyundai models in one manual and there is Coupe, but I think there would be different fuel pump setup.

I do not know about pulling a line off of the injector.. but he could probably undo the line at the filter... just be sure to have a rag over it incase it is still under pressure.

DP

some thoughts...

What fuel tank do you have? Metal or plastic?

I think those who have pump that is held by 6 bolts have metal tank.

I have plastic tank.
