Socks needs to reword what he said. It's not an "ACT throwout bearing".
Now read this carefully:
Clutchmasters, Clutchnet, Spec, XTD, ACT............
.....ALL USE THE SAME OEM THROWOUT BEARING MADE BY VALEO.

I was being sarcastic do his badly worded question.. as in 'yeah ACT sends you a TOB in THEIR kit that doesn't work'
i sure would hope that no one would think ACT had a special TOB they provided..
and to your unsprung question. yes, i have driven in a TSi with an unsprung clutch quite alot. it was a 4 puc ACT and it wasn't close to as easy is my sprung 6 puc. now ive never had experience with a non sprung hub in a tib.. but FROM MY EXPERIENCE, unless its needed, i wouldn't recommend a non-sprung hub. so its not a 'johnny's sisters brothers dag said' type thing.
