My own custom CAI!

hey the intake looks great ! i would like to get the same one.. where did you get the parts? how much did they cost?.
i did notice a SERIOUS problem within your engine bay.. this is a problem that could lead to your car burning to a pile of ashes if it is not repaired immediately.
PUT A 30 AMP FUSE on that power cable coming from your battery RIGHT NOW.. if it shors out on the chassis somewhere, the entire wire will light up into a glowing RED HOT EMBER and ignite your car and burn it to smitherines.. (this happened to one of my friends with his GMC SYCLONE TURBO AWD) and i dont want it to happen to you.
a 30 amp inline fuse holder costs $2 at any auto parts store, and can be installed in minutes with two butt-connectors and a crimper.
so please fix it before something really F*ucked up happens.

The flexible Exhaust piping is about 12.50 at any auto-parts store. I used 2.5". The elbow is about 9 bucks in the plumbing section of Lowes. You will have to cut to flange ends off the elbow. mine is actually shorter than the one here. The Random special CAI is similiar. It instead uses the flex pipe all the way up without the elbow. My elantra is an auto and this has proved to be very effective.

Hey FordFasteR the fuses are there, there just inside my car. One wire goes to my amp and the fuse is in the trunk and the other wire goes to my fog lights and that fuse is under the dash, though thanks for noticeing that you have a good eye and really know your stuff.
As for the materials I used I bought the tailpipe tubing at Pepboys for $5.99 for 18" which was just a little to short so I had to but 2 and the elbows are from lowes at $10.97 each and the flanges did get cut off but I didn't realize I had to do that untill 1 hour of *****ing and whining but it did come out pretty good and I also took my stock foglights off and boy did it get loud and it picks up a whole lot better, now I just need some grills (talk about a run on sentence)
