Default My exhaust update!

Finaly got some money to put my 28" glasspack in. I also wanted to put Flowmaster 40 series that I bought, but because it's 10" wide it didn't fit anywhere under the car.

Car got a whole lot quieter. At low RPMs it sounds a lot deeper and meaner. Love that sound now, but at WOT it still has the buzz, not as much but still get that annoying buzz.

I will sell my current flowmaster, and when I get some money I will get a Hush Power muffler by flowmaster. They are small in design and should work very well, but they are freaking expensive ($130).

I'll record some videos and sound clips once it gets a little warmer.

Glad it made a positive difference for you. It was a huge improvement for me.

I think the right muffler can make all the difference for buzz. The Hushpower series has an 18" long casing, you might want to measure before you buy to see if there is enough room. You are planning to put it after the axle, right?

Not to keep pushing it on you, but the Dynomax Super Turbo is under $40 and sounds awesome, while still getting rid of the buzz.wink1.gif

I will be putting it probably right after the header, in a place of a cat, and then my goes my glasspack. I really like the look of a can style muffler, so I don't want to get rid of it.

I didn't have my camera when I was at the shop today. I will try to take some pictures when I lift my car next time. But they cut out 28" long piece of pipe that had a resonator on and welded 28" red in color glasspack. Nothing special but sounds good smile.gif

My name is Chris now?... hmmm

18'' will fit after axle. I measured it and it will fit with pipe coming from above or below.

Do you think dynomax turbo muffler will sound better than a magnaflow? Iv heard a dynomaxed civic and sounded nice.

I think tubos name is Chris dude.

It would fit after the axle, but I really like the look of can style muffler and will keep it, so I have to work with pipes before the muffler.

you can get the cheapest muffler out there, some garbage from autozone for $20 bucks if u want, what matters is teh resonater, if you get a 2' long resonator and place it 6-10" after the cat, you should have a Great sounding exhaust!!!!! and thats a FACT!

Cheap mufflers will be restrictive and I highly doubt that it will sound good either...
