edit: btw, the e-ram actually got some pretty good reviews, I'd rather have a real turbo but it suppose it probably more effective than a cai.

 

I still say it's a scam part.

 

If it does in fact add real hp over a CAI, thats all well and great, but for the price, no thanks.

In addition, it shouldnt be called a supercharger, its just a intake flow resistance reducer, not saying that really rolls off the tounge but not only will this NOT pressurize the intake stream, it doesnt add nearly as much hp as real F/I, and you risk power loss if you don't select the right product.

But tell your boyfriend that he has to pay for 2 dyno pulls also, one without the fan, one with, so you know whether your just fooling yourself or whether you have more power.

And heck, if you gain power, it would be nice to know and be able to prove instead of just saying "i swear i feel a difference!"

 

Electric superchargers don't work...they're a scam, and a joke. Please get your money back.

 

the only superchargers for us are alpines and those are extreeeeeemely hard to get!!! you have a 1/100 chance of stumbling upon one. there's like maybe 2 on this forum, and 3 in the european forums. and with them you still need a rebuilt engine because they cause excess heat and misfiring.

i can assure you, an alpine weighs as much as a dog. what kind of supercharger, is he joking?

 

well dammit i say try it out, if you like the outcome keep it, if not then return it and get yourself something nice

There is no cheap way to any real HP gains. Forced induction is not easy nor is it cheap. This is a lot of money to spend for a less than 10 HP gain, and it doesn't even really qualify you being able to truthfully say you have a supercharger.

I wouldn't put it on my car, but whatever makes you happy...
