Default MAF to MAP

Has anyone converted from to MAF to MAP. Using the Korean ECU and MAP. The fundamental wiring should be the same on the harness, between the cars. The only thing I would need is a pin out of the Korean ECU.

You dont have to goto Korea, unless you want to get OBD-1. The new model elantra's, and i believe the 4cylinder 03 tibs are MAP equipted. You can "borrow" their manifold and ecu.

From what I have seen in Korean mags, their ECU's have different connectors than ours. Since they do not have as many sensors/requirements for OBD-i, they are a "simpler" ECU. (I think they are only 60 wire rather than our 72 wire)

I'll have to ask Sam if he can get factory service manuals for the Korean version of the tibby, in english. If so, that would solve you problem for you, or at least let you know if it is possible.
