I picked up a Chilton Manual to make sure we did the torque sequence and spec right.
This is the second head gasket it has had on it and i replace the head bolts when i first rebuilt it, and after i replaced the first leaky one. the leak is right under the exhaust manifold right in the middle.

The block and head came from the machine shop and both are true. the head was decked because it wasn't true at first. My dad checked with the weird skinny tool and flat thing lol. but it is true. and the machine shop said it was as well.

m10 22 then 60 degree + 60 more and m12 26 then 60 then 60 going through torque spec each time obviously

WHY IS IT LEAKING?

Ok, I'm gonna ask the potentially dumb and obvious questions. Please do not take offense to anything that might seem obvious, we just need to get the big items out of the way.

First, what is leaking -- coolant, or oil, or both?

Second, did you follow the proper ordering sequence when tightening the head bolts?

Third, did you use new head bolts and the proper washers?

Forth, did you dip the head bolts (and washers) in some clean oil before tightening them?

Fifth, did you have the block deck altered along with the head surface?
