So I've never expericened this with any other car but after I rev. it and its coming down from being reved up It stops at 2200 then drops some more then stops at 1400 then again at 1100 then goes to idle around 900 to 950. Why does it rev down in steps?

 

It's there to anticipate you dropping into the next lowest gear.

Well, they'd most likely be in THIS section or the GENERAL section.

I'd search for something like...

RPM Stepdown or wierd RPM, something like that.

Or go page by page through the forum in that section.

 

sorry guys but i did, and and found some. Its just that some of us have more patience to look through the topics. I just searched strange idle, and while a whole other bunch of problems showed up, so did this one. It just took a little searching, oh! go figure.
