to install msd or not

^^The topic of the thread isn't "please tell me how an msd works"
And if you actually read his first post you would see his goal of 400hp which is NOT obtainable though an N/A setup in a beta and it would take a sh*t load of nitrous.
Sorry man you had that one comming

my answer
with stock coils NO
with upgraded coils YES
-I also have a crane cams hi-6 but i never saw the point in putting it in my internally stock 1.5. it seems nobody makes any better than stock coils to go along with the Hi-6 or msd in your case. (of course you have the beta and probably have more options than the alpha)
if you have to run a stock coil then i dont get the point other than showing it off (which is not a bad thing if your just doing it for show)

Alot of Fail in this Topic, lol
I made 468 WHP, in the Tib with stock Ignition, that is where we had to stop tuning, cause it looked like godzilla came out of the wood works and took a bite out of my Graph, we arent 100 percent sure if that is due to the stock 13YEAR old coil packs, or if it is just the stock knock sensor picking up Ghost Knock.
Back it down to 450Whp and now thing runs like a monster, no issues with stock coils, I am just running some V Groove NGKS, and Ebay 10.2MM spark plug wires, and the spark plugs are gapped down to .028!!!

You act like it was totally unwarranted. Let me go back through some of your posts ok?

I get upwards of 450 on the dyno .......and make 420Whp
....a few dynos ago at 380Whp,
right now i am only running 6 degrees up top, and 422 Whp at the wheels.
i was running 12psi making 260ish WHP
Im making almost 400Whp
Funny, but none of those claims you've been making match your 412 or 416whp dyno. Still confused about our accusations.......or yours?
Your dyno seems a little more believable, but until I see build pics of the block and head, I still won't believe your "486whp/500whp/468whp" claims.
I e-stalked your photobucket account. You like to a take a sh*t ton of pics of your car and most parts, yet there's absolutely no pics of the expensive parts? You'd think one would be proud of that and take several pics... In fact, everyone who's ever built their motor around here has taken pics of their build.
