Injector / Fuel pressure reg. Question
Hello, So I have all this good stuff off now. Intake manifold, rail, injectors and I had a couple of questions. (99 Tiburon)
1. Can an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator be used on the stock rail?
2. How can I clean the old injectors? And, with what injectors should I replace the stock ones with. I am going to soon add a turbo.
3. After I replace the injectors to bigger size ones, will I NEED a different fuel computer right away, or will the stock ECU figure it out and give less fuel, till I get my hands on a SAFC?
If I get any help with these questions, much appreciated. I am doing all the work myself and on another note I also got the MSD DIS II figured out.
Thanks for the previous help with that! smile.gif

it depends on what size injectors you replace the stockers with as to if you need a new/piggyback ecu. i've read of some people using 10% larger injectors with stock ecus. if you're gonna get 440cc injectors, then you need a new/piggyback ecu.

Since you want answers for a turbo setup, moving to Forced Induction forum.
