Idle Problems..
#1
Ok two idle problems. First, sometimes it will go up to 2k for no reason when im in neutral or clutch is pushed in, and keep rev'ing between 2k and like 2200. Does it when Im sitting still, or say if I'm rolling to a stop. And now when I'm sitting there in neutral, it drops down to like 100 rpm's like it's going to die.
Also, one of my belts is making a squeeking noise like every revolution or so, I heard maybe it's loose but it seemed tight.
If it matters I have a dae-sung TPS.

possible TPS, MAF, IAT(if we have one), or even IAC. try unpluggin all of them and see which effects it the most(this will trigger the CEL).

well theres 3 different belts one is probily coming loose. if you tib has been wrecked check for a plastic under gaurd on your passenger side.
my tib the belt slips from water getting on it, due to the missing undergaurd(have one but been to lazzy too install).
also i would do what i said and just unplug everything one thing at a time(keeping only one unpluged) and see what sensor changes your idle the most my iac went out and my car idled 2000 for a long time and then i unplugged it and it went back down. now i changed it and it idles fine.

The guard, is it the same thing as on the drivers side that does/would somewhat protect a CAI? Like a splash guard.
