^^^yeah, on second thought, true that.

atleast half the wire colors were different on me when i was doing my alarm.

I'm hooking up something in the engine bay. using a mulitmeter at the ECU would be difficult

I'll just test resistance to ground while actuating the throttle when the car is off.
