ignition system amplifier?

Looks a little pricey, is it worth what they charge?

i've heard good things about them. they're not going to give you mad power. i would suggest getting one of these AFTER you really have nothing else to do (i.e. you have a turbo, port and polish, beefed up tranny (assuming you have the power to necessitate that),BIM, and everything else).

Basically, it is a capacitor for your ignition system.

By using the "capacitor" inline with the ignition coils, the coils draw on stored electricity within the capacitor. The question to ask is....how fast can the capacitor charge? If the capacitor charge rate is slower than the coil fire rate at top RPM...you're hindering performance, not helping.

Also, this device is designed for standard CDI ignitions, not our DIS ignitions.
