With the aftermarket clutch you are better off. You don't really have a choice though unless you get the reinforcement from Level10 for the tranny.

Well, tell me this, what is the ACT 3 rated to?

The Clutch/Forged Lightened Flywheel/Pressureplate we sell on Kspec.com is rated to 350 HP, and grips like a biatch. RUSS, from HA.com has it installed in his Elantra. If you haven't bought the clutch yet and are also wanting a flywheel, you may wanna look at that setup. It'll probably be cheaper anyways.

LOL

RUSS is a skinny bastard and can handle it, I'm sure Batman here will be fine with it.

question being "can the tranny handle it?"

all except 5th gear and the diff.

now my question's....
have you reached this goal of power yet?
are you running stock engine components?
stock axles?
what are your tunning methods... I.E. fuel and spark?
what are you gonna do with your diff?

i have'nt read anything on your set up or anything i am just going off of what i have done to my car.

at 10psi of boost your piston rings will last about a week or 2 before you start blowing oil every where. at the amount of power you are wanting then your axles and diff will hate you and traction will be REAL fun so say good bye to your tires in a couple of months after a bit of racing.

i was pushing 10psi and i had 233whp. my engine was spewing oil worse than linda blair and the pea soup.

when i was pushing 7psi it was great, nothing went wrong and it ran real good. but if you are planning to re-build then push it as far as you can.

I agree with Littlejohn....I haven't boosted yet but that goes along with all that I have read up on and heard about from Tib owners.

@Voiddweller
I have a question the level10 tranny upgrade you mentioned above...
I searched for hyundai-parts and found this two sites...
http://www.levelten.com/store/import/packa...rts_hyundai.htm
http://www.levelten.com/store/import/packa...ges/hyundai.htm
Which kind of upgrade do I need for my 5speed 220hp s/C setup?

@littlejohn
Can I buy better pistonrings alone. If yes, where and what kind of rings?
Where can I get better axles?
