If you have sticky tires such as a Dunlop SP 8000, Bridgestone S02, etc, you won't need "over" inflation, if your tires are not sticky, a little more pressure than usual could help. But you have to try, each wheel-tire combo has it's ideal pressure.

hehe, sorry. I had 2 sets, they both sucked. I wont waste money on a dunlop ever again.

I had a set of Dunlop Z rated tires. They were great, just didn't last too long.
Also, in addition to what ZMan said, it depends on what the track is like if you want to determine the pressure for your tires. You'll be surprised at how much difference it can make.
