Hi-Flo, but quiet exhaust search
Ok guys,
I'm searcing for a good hi-flo/performance cat-back exhaust ( or even a muffler for now) that isn't too loud. I cut out the resonator ( on my 2000 Tiburon) and put in a 2.5' dragonfire muffler. This is too loud, and attracts too much attention ( police , etc.). I don't mind a little rumble when I'm racing around, but for daily driving, what I have is too much. If you can, also give me links /prices. Just post here, I don't read up on my private messages.
Thanks

i got a standard over the shelft 3 chamber turbo muffler for $20 bux.
sounds really low, and flow is increased more than 30%.
i also had a custom made 2 1/4 inch piping installed from the cat-all the way back...
this is also 10-20% better flowing than the stock system.... also, in the middle of the pipe, are 3 resonators, the first one looks like a cat, but its not, the other two just look like regular resonators...

Not to flame you or question you, but how did you come up with these figures?
"increased flow more than 30%"
"This is also 10-20% better flowing than the stock system"

If you want to keep your existing muffer, a perforated core glasspack will quiet it down, and it should be under $100 with install. If you are looking for a new muffler, go for a Magnaflow.
