I didn't send you any dyno results...so I'm not sure how I confused you.

Headers will require you to "lose" the first cat. The stock cats have rather small openings so you will get better performance by ditching BOTH stock cats, and going with one high performance unit.

You place the 1st o2 sensor BEFORE the cat, you place the 2nd o2 sensor AFTER the cat.

Any questions?

my question was that i didnt think that kore made a cai for automatic.i was wondering whats the difference between a 97 tib and 97 elantra's engine bay seeing how the bays look iderntical. seeing how they made a cai for a 97 tib auto. the one last thing is what size exhaust piping should i use for a header/catback exhaust system.
thnx

5-speed tibbies dyno higher than autotragics. Auto Trannies have more friction, so more power loss at the wheels.

With the same mods, you should dyno in the 140's.

This second part was not answered... will a turbo'ed vehicle pass emissions (in NY)? If not, how can it be forced to (even if it's just for 10 minutes during inspection, HAHA)?

Easy...get it titled in a state that does not have emissions testing, or just pass the inspection station attendtant $100 or $200 to "Pass" your car.
