Default 92-95 Elantra 4G63 Swap:Diagnostics mode in the elantra swap

I am in the process of buying a grounding kit for better power distribution. I was wondering if anyone has done this before? And if so how exactly do I install the kit? I need instructions and the kit does not come with. Please help!!

Welcome to the site, grounding kits, yes, many of us have them in our Tibs, but I ask you, what kit did you get? Most of the ones available on Ebay are really crappy.

You'd be best making your own or getting a TRUE HKS kit.

What you could do..

Is go to an electrician specialty shop and get a large amount of thick gauge wiring..

Just do it yourself..

Like this you can pick your own ricey color

Dont they have neon colors now?

Default short shifter

I got an Evo 8 gauge kit. I figured the 8 gauge wires will improve the flow of electricity.

I'll start a new thread about those new kits at Kspec.com

As for that "Evo Kit", it's the one I bought and sold without using. It's horrible, and very hard to keep all of the stuff tight on it.

Default Rside shifter

i've got one on my car...helps some...head lights dim less when bass hits... seems to make my car a LIL happier. i custom made mine..it's made of 4 guage car audio wire. buy the good stuff...oxygen free...also use good connectors... stay away from ebay...i bought a kit from them just to see what they were made of. The wires they use are the SIZE of 4gauge but when you cut em apart their is only enough wire in there for an 8guage. the insulation is really thick makin it look 4 guage... people say to daisy chain all the grounding points together like tranny to block to altenator then to ground...just do em individually...tranny to groound... block to ground...alternator to ground etc... you can use the same grounding point...thats the only thing i kept from that kit i bought was the circular grounding piece..jsut remember not to ground your battery to that same grounding point. Your battery ground puts out an ohm load that you do not want all your other grounds to touch.
