Got My Rside Header
#11
Bah.. it might be a while before I get them installed, but that's okay.
"Patience is a virtue, especially in tuning cars."
Here's what I'm planning on doing. First thing next week I will bring the header to Midas and see if they can order bolts for both the header and the flange. I will also see if they could take off the stock cat that's still attached.
After that I think me and my friend will find a good day to swap out the stock manifold and put in the RSide.

dont order anything from midas. they wont know what specific bolts and nuts you need. that stuff is not written down.
just start taking your header off, then once you get a bolt, drive to the hardware store in your friend's car. get a similiar bolt(but in ss), nut, and washer to fit them.
DONE.

Hmm..
Just talked to the Hyundai guys about bolts first, and since I have a brand new stock manifold in there, I should be able to use the bolts from that.
Is this valid? I'm probably going to do the install tomorrow morning. If not, no biggie.

holy crap man.
take off stock bolts, take off header. if you want, re-use the stock bolts. chances are you will break some though. this is where the hardware store would come in.
stop going around to different people asking if they know the thread size of your stock header bolts, and whether or not they will fit on a new header. they wont know.

Lol okay Tibby01, chill.
Never once did you say anything about reusing stock bolts mang. All you suggested was running around looking for SS bolts AFTER I take off the stock bolts (which are quite new, came with new stock manifold after it cracked)
Header is going on tomorrow.
Done and settled.
Thanks guys!
