Default Gaskets for 2k3 GT

OK looks like with some luck next friday I will be getting MY IM and TB done. Including a new plate made. Still depends on cost. Ill find that out friday.

Since the car is so new. Do you think I will have to replace the IM and TB gaskets or No.
IF so Anybody know where I can get them cheap.

Im thinking getting the blank gasket sheet and doing it myself.

At the same time I will be adding NGK plugs and following red's advice doing a side grind. Throw new wires at the same time.

SInce the IM is off and the engine is such a bear Ill do it all at the same time.

My gaskets were about 2 yrs old when I changed my IM + TB and they were fine. Just wipe them down before sticking it back together.

Dixi,

how much are you boring the TB and IM out to? I have been waiting for someone to do it and see what their opinions are before I get it done wink

DUNNO yet. I am hoping for 60mm but I have heard that 58 might be the max.
Im gonna tell him big as he can without making it overly weak.
When I get it back I will get the numbers from him and post them as well as before and after pics.

I will be going tommorow to have the guy give me a price. Im hoping its not to much.

I set aside pile oh cash for this then come home last night and find the pipes under the sink are broken (old pipes). So I got a crash course in how to weld pipes. But my wife kinda wants (and really needs) A new sink and faucet. So thats this weekend.

BUT FEAR NOT. I will get the price and if its to high I will go somewhere else.

Yoda says
BBTB and BIM makes little WHP it does but response on throttle large it is.

From what I've read the entire intake stream for the Delta is very restrective. You may be very surprised at the added power.

Dixi, to do 60mm, you should get a BBTB from SR, I'm getting the Barney BBTB, the IM is capable of 60mm i believe stock, but the Throttle body isn't (At least that's what I think)
