Default Fuel Pump....

At what point would an upgraded fuel pump need to be installed? (note my mods below)

Thanks

With bolt ons you shouldn't ever have to upgrade the fuel pump.

When running nitrous, boost, or perhaps a majorly modified NA setup you would need a new higher-flow pump.

You would only need a better pump if you need more fuel. I think you need more fuel around the 180hp level. Check Brendan's site. The calculations that were used to derive that number are on there. Truly you would only need more fuel if you are using NOS or some form of forced induction. Are cars usually run rich from the factory so there is plenty of room mods without a better fuel pump. On the other the hand it is pretty cheap insurance. It will not hurt any thing buy installing it.

if your running a zex kit (or any other pressurized kit) with a 65 shot+,... you need to upgrade your pump
