oddd. i never had spacer on mine.. can you take a pic?

are you putting it on the right way? LOL

how thick is this spacer your talking about? or what thickness do you think it would need to be?

you sure you have the right flywheel? whats preventing it from bolting up?

what year is the flywheel from?

i unfortunately right now can not take pics cause the car is 20 miles away from me.

the flywheel has "B2.0" cast in it. it is from the kit i bought from blacktibs that he got from hyundaicraz so i am pretty sure it is a good one. when we were torqueing it down, the center started to bulge. yeah, we were using a impact (i know, beat me later) but it would never seat.

also, what are teh torque specs for flywheel bolts, i cant find it.

older tibs had a diff size crank.. it was 41mm, new are 35mm, but i think using old one would still work, but i duno if the 'seat' design was different or not.

do you know what year it was from, pre 99? or post?

center bulged???? WTF that thing is like 3/8" thick or more, crazy.

yes, i read on stocker's swap thread on the difference between 35 to 41 just a wee bit ago, i wonder if that is the problem. no way to check until tomorrow.

but in the end, no spacer in the rear i guess eh?

have no clue what the tranny came out of. i will just have to take measurements tomorrow i suppose and i bet the mm difference is the problem i am having. no biggie, just get a new flywheel and junk the one that came with the tranny.

btw, can you order just the wear pad of a fidanza flywheel and replace it or do you have to order the whole damn new thing?

you can order a new wear plate..

and what im talking about with the crank.. is the new crank is 6mm smaller, so if the design is same, either flywheel should work, but im not sure if anything else changed.
