Default Flowmaster 60 series

What would be the quietest performance muffler in your opinion?
I want to combine a 2.25" inch exhaust from the flex pipe (We don't have cats, so this flex pipe is right below the engine) to the rear. I'll use two 18 glasspacks.
The point is, I want a good flow, but I can't have a too loud exhaust, so I would go for the quitest.
How good is the FlowMaster 60 series? It's supossed to be "quiet" and it's designed for imports, isn't it?
Thanks

You would have to ask a question that I need my books to answer ... LOL Let me check out the Flowmaster book tomorrow at work and I'll try to leave you a better answer here then.

I would reccomend magnaflow over flowmaster. Flowmaster's are tuned for "sound" whereas Magnaflows are tuned for NO SOUND and low Backpressure.

Flowmasters sound great, but I thought their [Delta Series] was tuned for maximum scavenging as well. Random, your Magnaflow wasn't much quiter than Sean's (Mochaduc, remember him? wink ), and IMO I thought his had a "nicer" tone to it. You really couldn't hear it much over his intake; it sounded, well, muffled.

Anyone got the flowbench result on both Magnaflow & Flowmaster?

Mochaduc's was indeed quieter, but then again, he had a bone stock 1.8L with a bone stock ehaxust and just a muffler.

Flow bench tests will not resolve which is the "quieter" muffler however, and that is what he is looking for.

Good point...and the flowbench question was just for my curiosity.
