Should be like wiring any switch.

As for the Thermostats, Kspec.com can get them.

Mad John can too.

not really. the fans have a big current draw. you will have to use a relay for this one; there arent many switches designed to work with this much power.

it's been done before hasn't it?

or does everyoen go the t-stat route.

Has the t-stat from kspec been proven to turn the fans on before the OEM t-stat and for a LONGER period of time? How much? when do they turn on?

switch question? If I found a switch powerful enough could I make the switch turn both fans on simultaneously (safely?) or have to have two switches individually?

Does ANYONE know what size of T Stat we use? I saw some 195 degree T Stats at a performance store today for cheap.

could you just put them on the other side and throw current through the fans in the opposite direction?

TRE, I dont get FAL fans from my main supplier, so I'll have to contact one of my smaller guys if you still need it. If you find anything in the mean time I'd just say grab it up so you can be taken care of. I'm still trying, but as of 1 weeks search I'm still left with no FAL 02.gif

I'm still working on it though, as I really want a set.

If you have A/C, do you need an A/C relay to go with the fans? I'm a bit new to this...

And thermostats? If I'm going to have a supercharger will I need a thermostat on these fans?

No, you don't need the relay kit or the Thermostat. That's why you get the 220 model.

The fan's should fit with no problem. I've fitted them on 2 RD1's and 1 RD2. Never had an issue. the bottom of the fan sits on the lower radiator "lip/ledge for the bottom end tank, and the top tucks under the ledge/lip on the upper end tank.

The fans do not need to be powered via relays if you re-use the stock fan wiring. (i.e. wire them directly in place of the stock fans). The stock wiring/relays/fuzes are powerful enough.

If you want to wire in a switch, then yes, you should use a relay and a inline fuse.
If you want to wire one of the fans to always be on, you should use a relay and a inline fuse.
